Umbilical Cord Bleeding?

I had my 1st baby November 16th and noticed her umbilical cord was slightly bleeding...but its dried up now it looks like...I was curious how much blood is normal to bleed before it falls off? and how much blood is too much to bleed? Would really appreciate answers!

My baby's never bled. Mine did get a little infected. It started to weep a little bit and smelt badly so the nurses kept wiping it with alcohol wipes. It was fine once it dropped off when she was about 4 days old.
