I have a question about formula?

This isnt' a breastfeeding comment - but it IS based in breastfeeding experience. When my baby had thrush he would want to nurse all the time. I have seen this in other nursing babies as well. I was told that thrush can cause a little bit of a sore throat & that causes them to want to drink more. Is it possible he is eating a bit excessively due to the thrush & then spitting due to being overfilled. I onlyy ask as I don't know how much he is taking at a feed & if his intake has increased since having the thrush.

Other than that, I would suspect a tolerance issue with the formula if it's been going on since he started it OR reflux, as that sometimes takes a few weeks before it seems to start showing up. Many babies do not reflux right away, but after a few weeks it intensifies. Give this a read & see if it helps you determine if you think it's reflux or the formula. http://www.babymd.net/ger.htm
